Analog Threat is a 3D action-strategy game set in a dystopian future. Lead a team of elite troops on a mission to save hostages, arrest hostiles and bring back order to chaos.

This game puts the concept of classical tactical shooters into a new perspective ! See the entire field of operation and command your group to arrest the threats in each mission.

Features :

  • 8 Unique levels filled with tension.
  • Thrilling 3D pre-rendered cutscenes !
  • Customisation of each character with different equipment (flash grenade, explosives charges...).
  • A unique set of wallpapers in 7 different resolutions (including 800x600) !

Tips :

  • Don't forget you have a quota of arrests, therefore think twice before you shoot a hostile.
  • Some hostile will try to execute hostages if they have the slightest doubt on your presence, so be careful and act fast !
  • When a hostile decides to attack you (indicated by a red exclamation mark), it's useless to aim at them ! Shoot them or hide behind a wall.
  • You NEED a door charge in the first level to get to the hostile in the upper floor.

Controls :

(Do right click -> "open image in new tab" to have it in better resolution)

I agree with *ahem* cumbob that the real time aspect is impossible to handle since the bots are always faster than you are.

Being able to queue action during door breaches are the pretty obvious and immediate solution, though obviously there are different solutions.

the realtime aspect, while interesting, is really a detriment to the game due to the unintuitive and complex controls alongside the fact your units don't act by themselves in any way. Also, a lot of stuff like action and item descriptions are in french and not translated.

Thanks for your comment !

I just uploaded a new version of the game with the action and item descriptions translated (my bad on that part 😅).

As for the realtime aspect, I'll work on a better system (maybe with the ability to pause the action at any time or if you don't give any orders), as well as giving the ability to set a default action when your units get spotted or attacked.
